LIMITED COLLECTION from the BRYANT POND TELEPHONE COMPANY FOR SALE

These items are from the inventory of the Bryant Pond Telephone Company in Maine that went dial in 1983.  It was the last old-fashioned magneto hand crank independent telephone company in North America.  They were mostly in a heap in the garage but have been cleaned, polished, and put back together.  (Additional finishing may be desired.)  They are being presented here as collectors’ items, because when they are gone, there will be no more directly from this source (the estate of the former owners). - $75.00 per set, plus shipping.

In addition to a ringer box and desk phone, we are adding a signed copy of the book “Everything Happened Around the Switchboard”, written by Michael Hathaway, the son of the owners (Elden & Barbara Hathaway pictured above), as well as a collection of ephemera printed for use by the company and a  telephone book which includes the Bryant Pond numbers.
